Turkmen judoka Serdar Rahimov stopped a step away from the bronze medal in his performance at the 2023 Portuguese Grand Prix that ended in the city of Almada. 544 judokas (317 men and 227 women) from 81 countries on five continents fought for medals and rating points on the way to the Olympic Games in Paris 2024 in seven men's and seven women's weight categories. Turkmenistan was represented by 8 athletes (5 men and 3 women), the best result of which was shown by Serdar Rahimov.
