In the capital of Turkmenistan will be held the World SAMBO Championships in 2025

In order to further strengthen friendly ties and good-neighborly relations between peoples, as well as to promote physical culture and sports, to actively promote the principles of a healthy lifestyle in society, to widely attract the younger generation to sports, to increase the international sports authority of the country, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution, allowing the Ministry of Sports and youth policy, together with the International SAMBO Federation, to hold the World SAMBO Championships in the martial arts sports complex of the Olympic village in Ashgabat in November 2025.

Turkmenistan – UN: Partnership for Sustainable Development

During the extended Cabinet meeting held on July 8, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, focusing on the good news that the “Declaration of the Dialogue of Women of Central Asian States and Russia” following the results of the Dialogue of Women of Central Asian States and Russia held in Ashgabat in May of this year, was recognized as a document of the 76^th session of the UN General Assembly, noted that this fact is a recognition by the Community of Nations of the constructiveness of our country’s foreign policy and initiatives, another evidence of the growing authority of the Motherland on the world stage, as well as a joyful event for all Turkmen citizens.
