The celebration of Defender of the Fatherland Day, which is annually accompanied by ceremonial events, coincides with the first winter days of 2026—a year held under the motto “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan—the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses.”

Recently, on the occasion of Defender of the Fatherland Day, the hakimlik of Lebap velayat, together with public organizations, held an event attended by personnel of the military and law-enforcement agencies, as well as soldiers of Military Unit No. 2111 of the State Border Service of Turkmenistan.

As part of the program, the participants visited the velayat’s Museum of History and Local Lore, where they became acquainted with national values and information about the historical landmarks of our country. The ancient fortresses and monuments presented in the archaeological hall made an unforgettable impression on the guests.
