Today, the International conference «Ynsanperwerlik ýoly», dedicated to the 35th anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan, was held in a hybrid format in the conference hall of the «Arçabil» hotel. This event, in a series of important events during the year «Independent neutral Turkmenistan – the homeland of purposeful winged horses», became yet another manifestation of the growing importance of the patriotic and humanistic principles of our Fatherland in the international arena.
The forum, dedicated to current issues of our time, was attended by the leaders of the National Red Crescent society of Turkmenistan (NRCST), the International Committee of the Red Cross, and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in our country. In addition, delegates from Red Crescent societies from foreign countries joined the conference via video link.
During the event, a wide range of issues related to cooperation with major international organizations were discussed, primarily with the National Red Crescent Societies of various countries, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. It was noted that joint work with these structures contributes to increasing the level of knowledge of employees and volunteers of the National Red Crescent society of Turkmenistan, and also expands opportunities for the exchange of experience.
Currently, the Turkmen state, implementing a foreign policy strategy based on the principles of peacefulness, good-neighbourliness, and humanism, is actively putting forward initiatives aimed at addressing key issues on the global agenda, including strengthening humanistic values and ideals.
As was emphasised in the speeches of delegates, the activities of the National Red Crescent Societies correspond to the fundamental principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement – humanism, independence and voluntariness. This serves as a clear indication of the effectiveness of joint efforts and the high level of implementation of decisions taken.
Participants of the International conference «Ynsanperwerlik ýoly», dedicated to the 35th anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan, expressed their sincere gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Hero-Arkadag, for the high level of organisation of the event, assuring that they will make every effort to implement the proposed initiatives in accordance with the realities of the time.
