On the third Sunday of July in Turkmenistan traditionally publicly and solemnly was celebrated a holiday Galla Bayram dedicated to the selfless efforts of farmers and mechanics, signifying the total harvest of grain, a holiday when the land pay tribute to the nurse responding to the constant concern for farmers rich harvests. By the national holiday was dedicated a large program of celebrations - in different parts of the country held a colorful musical and singing performances, concerts, exhibitions devoted to the golden harvest of the new Harman, who is embedded in the work of thousands of villagers.
This evening the main celebrations unfolded at a concert center "Ashgabat" in the National Park of Independence. It brought together government officials, leaders and representatives of the Mejlis, ministries and departments, NGOs, media representatives, students, and numerous residents and visitors
In the park was placed celebratory exhibition which showed the achievements of agriculture of each velayat. Also was widely presented an abundance of the Turkmen land such as agricultural production and processing industry and especially took a place of honor naturally selected products grain farming industry. The exposition was decorated and the samples of applied art, works of art dedicated to the golden grain and fragrant churek.
The culmination of the celebration was the awarding ceremony of the heroes of the harvest in 2012. On behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov best growers, workers grain farming industry of the country were presented with gifts
