The results of the creative competition «Heavenly horses - the pride and glory of the Turkmen people», announced by the Central council of the Youth organisation of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly and the editorial board of the «Neutral Turkmenistan» newspaper on the occasion of the National Day of the Turkmen Horse, were announced in the building of the Centre for public organisations of Turkmenistan.

The main conditions of the competition were to promote the power of artistic expression and the high principles of creative policy, which is triumphant thanks to the initiatives of Hero-Arkadag and the undertakings of the esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. Participants demonstrated artistic skill through poetry, essays and articles.

The main prize of the competition went to Director of the pedagogical school named after Hydyr Deryayev in Mary, Maral Annagulyyeva; first place went to a teacher at the specialised secondary school Ashgabat №28 with in-depth study of exact sciences, Govher Yakubova; second place went to the correspondent for the «Neutral Turkmenistan» newspaper Shemshat Durdyyeva, and Head of the department of the Correspondents of the State news agency of Turkmenistan Gylychmyrat Gurbanov; third place went to the lecturer at the State medical university of Turkmenistan named after Myrat Garryyev, Lale Berdiyeva; a senior lecturer at the Turkmen state university named after Magtymguly, Tachmuhammet Sahydov; and a senior lecturer at the Turkmen state university named after Magtymguly, Ogulmaral Atajanova.

Speakers during the celebration noted that every year on the last Sunday of April, the National Holiday of the Turkmen Horse is celebrated in the country, horse breeders are provided with housing, and such honorary titles as «Türkmenistanyň at gazanan atşynasy», «Türkmenistanyň ussat halypa çapyksuwary», «Türkmenistanyň halk atşynasy» are awarded.

The winners were awarded certificates of honour and valuable gifts.
