This year, held under the motto “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses,” conferences, musical gatherings, and exhibitions are being organized throughout the Balkan velayat with particular solemnity, vividly reflecting the nation’s unity.

One of the key events was a meeting held at the Beýik Ýüpek Ýoly Hotel of the International Seaport, organized as part of a joint initiative by the hyakimlik of the city of Turkmenbashi and the State Service of Maritime and River Transportation of Turkmenistan. The educational and outreach conference, prepared by the city council of the Youth Organization and the city branch of the Women’s Union, brought together both experienced women working in the maritime fleet and female students from across the region.

The main discussion focused on the harmonious development of the younger generation and on strengthening the role and prestige of women, whose contribution to the country’s modern economy and culture has reached an entirely new level. Participants thoroughly discussed state initiatives in the areas of gender equality and social protection, emphasizing that family values and a healthy lifestyle form the foundation of a prosperous society. At the conclusion of the meeting, participants expressed their deep gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, and to President Arkadagly Hero Serdar for creating favorable conditions for comprehensive development and constructive progress.

As Guljemal Bayliyeva, Head of the Department of the Turkmenbashi City Council of the Youth Organization, noted in an interview, similar events are regularly held at the Avaza National Tourist Zone and at the city’s major industrial enterprises. This systematic work is aimed at explaining the key directions of state policy and ensuring a worthy celebration of the upcoming 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s sacred independence.
