In order to significantly improve the supply of purified water to oil refinery production facilities and continue the construction of modern facilities equipped with advanced equipment that meets international standards, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state.

According to the document, the State concern «Türkmennebit» is authorised to conclude a contract with the economic society «Nur Mimar» at its own expense for the design and construction of a new Kenar pumping station and a seawater desalination plant with a daily capacity of 15 thousand cubic metres for the Turkmenbashy complex of oil refineries in the city of Turkmenbashy, Balkan velayat.

The document also requires construction work to begin in June 2026 and for the station and installation to be fully operational in June 2029.
