Students from three higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan are participating in the international summer program “UNITEN Energy Adventure Summer Camp”, which is being held in Malaysia from 25 July to 2 August.
The summer cultural and educational platform for students from different countries of the world has been organized at the Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), located in the Malaysian city of Kajang.
Turkmenistan is represented at the event by students of the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan – Ruslan Ekaev, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, and Azimjan Tajiev, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of Cyber-Physical Systems.
Students of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute are also participating in the summer program – Akhmet Bekmiev, a 3rd-year student majoring in “Power Supply (in Industry)”, and Sandzhar Esenov, a 4th-year student majoring in “Lifting and Transporting, Construction and Road Machinery and Equipment”.
In addition, the national team includes students of the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan – Serdar Aydogdyev, a 1st-year student majoring in “Industrial Electronics”, Isa Shamuhammedov, a 1st-year student majoring in “Microelectronics and Semiconductor Devices”, and Jumadurdy Dovletgeldiyev, a 3rd-year student in the field of “Information Security”.
During the summer camp program, Turkmen students, together with their peers from different countries around the world, participate in lectures and practical sessions dedicated to energy, innovative technologies and scientific research. At the same time, an extensive program of cultural events has been prepared for the participants.
Participation in this international project will allow students to exchange valuable experience with students from different countries, expand their intercultural communication skills, strengthen international academic ties, and acquire new useful knowledge and practical skills, which will greatly contribute to their further professional development.
The trip of Turkmen students to Malaysia is taking place within the framework of established academic cooperation supported by agreements on collaboration between Turkmen universities and the Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN).
Expanding academic mobility of students, studying advanced experience, as well as strengthening international cooperation in the field of education and scientific research are among the priority areas of activity of Turkmen higher education institutions.
The participation of students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan in international educational initiatives demonstrates the consistent achievement of set objectives, as well as the effectiveness of ongoing efforts to integrate the national higher education system into the global educational space.
