The Turkmen state publishing service has published a new textbook, «Art History», intended for students of higher education institutions of the country.

The authors of the publication are A. Baylyyeva and A. Kadyrova.

The book covers the main issues of art theory, describes the types and genres of fine art, artistic means of expression and the relationship of art with society. Particular attention is paid to modern scientific approaches to the analysis of works of art and the development of research skills of the students.

The new textbook will become a valuable teaching and methodological guide for training future highly qualified specialists in the field of art history and will contribute to the successful continuation of large-scale work in the country to improve the national higher education system.
