The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, jointly with the Aba Annayev International Horse Breeding Academy, has announced the organization of the intellectual competition “Akhal-Teke Horses — Envoys of Peace” among students of grades 11–12 of secondary general education schools across the country.
The event is dedicated to the year “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses.” The objectives of the competition are to promote among young people the art of Akhal-Teke horse breeding, its centuries-old history and national traditions, as well as to identify the most gifted and talented students who possess deep knowledge of this subject.
The competition consists of three stages. The first (qualifying) stage will take place on September 22 in the form of online testing. The second and third stages will be held from October to December in an in-person format at the Aba Annayev International Horse Breeding Academy.
Based on the results of the third, final stage, the best participants will be determined — the winners of first, second, and third prize places.
The winners will be awarded the main prize of the competition — a special cup, gold, silver, and bronze medals, valuable and commemorative gifts, as well as certificates of honor, diplomas, and certificates from the State Association “Türkmen Atlary,” the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, and the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan.
