New textbooks for students of higher educational institutions in the country have been published in Turkmenistan.

The publications were approved by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and published by the Turkmen State Publishing Service.

A new textbook, “Andrology,” by M. Charyyev, is intended for students studying medical specialties.

The textbook has been prepared in accordance with the curriculum for the discipline “Andrology.” The book covers general issues in andrology, including the anatomy and physiology of the male reproductive system, symptoms of andrological diseases, methods of their diagnosis, and specialized examination methods. In addition, the textbook provides a detailed description of the most common andrological diseases among the population, their causes, pathogenesis, clinical course, diagnosis, and methods of treatment.

The textbook, intended primarily for students of the Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan, will also serve as a useful reference guide for physicians working in the healthcare system.

Another new university textbook, “English for Economists,” was prepared by authors A. Satgeldiyeva and G. Hallyyev.

The textbook consists of 13 thematic sections, each of which includes exercises for studying and consolidating specialized vocabulary. The text materials are accompanied by assignments that enable students to check their understanding of the material and use the new vocabulary in practice.

In addition, the publication presents modern teaching methods, including situation modelling, role-playing, and analysis of practical cases, aimed at developing critical thinking and communication skills. Particular attention is paid to students’ independent work, which will allow them to study the topics presented in greater depth.

The textbook is intended to contribute to expanding economic knowledge and developing professional language skills. The book will become a valuable resource for studying English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and preparing students for professional activities in the economic sphere.

The publication, intended for students of economics-related specialties, will also be useful to relevant specialists who use specialized English in their professional activities.
