On October 9, a solemn opening ceremony was held for a new additional complex of buildings at the treatment center of the Archman Sanatorium. The event was attended by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag.

In his address, the head of the supreme representative body of the people’s power noted that the development of a network of modern health resorts combining innovative medical technologies, traditional preventive methods, and unique natural and climatic conditions was an important component of state policy.

The new four-story treatment building at the Archman Sanatorium has a capacity of 400 beds and includes several multidisciplinary departments, providing comfortable conditions for the health improvement of citizens of all ages and married couples.

The capabilities of the new treatment center are extensive. Its departments are equipped with modern medical technology from leading international manufacturers. The hydrotherapy department can accommodate 100 patients simultaneously for mineral baths and includes specialized rooms for balneological procedures. The complex also houses a herbal tea bar, where guests are offered medicinal infusions made from local medicinal plants described in detail in Hero-Arkadag’s multivolume scientific work, «Medicinal Plants of Turkmenistan.»

As part of the modernization of the health resort, the building used for dispensing mineral drinking water was also completely renovated. The unique properties of the water at the Archman Sanatorium are effectively used in the prevention and treatment of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, biliary tract, and skin.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people emphasized that the systematic development of the sanatorium and health resort sector, as well as sports and wellness facilities, was aimed at safeguarding the physical and spiritual health of the nation, which serves as a solid foundation for a powerful and prosperous state.
