The school leaver of this year from the Ashgabat school Meylis Myalikov became the owner of bronze medal according to the results of the 43rd International physics contest.

This representative intellectual contest, which was held in Estonia with the participation of nearly four hundred of schoolchildren from eighty world countries, was recognized as one of the more significant events of the year in the world of science. The International Contest for the best young physicists of the world, which was first organized in Poland tens years ago, annually hosts the admirers of this exact science in various countries.

In Estonia, these prestigious contests of competitors took place in two cities – Tallinn and Tartu. The last one officially got the status of one-day worldwide capital of physics. Owing to this, very different events, calling for intellectual development, display of particular interest in exact sciences and growth of substantial attainments in the field of education, were organized in this city simultaneously with the contests of young physicists.

There were real “master classes” from outstanding lecturers – Nobel Prize Laureates during brightest events, which took place on the background of the subject contest among pupils of the world. Organizers and participants of the contests highly appreciated these lectures, having underlined their special value and significance for those, who are faced with the choice of their further professional path.

During a ten-day competitive marathon, the young physicists had to solve quite complicated tasks. The use of innovative IKT-technologies by competitors in their solution drew great attention of “examiners”, who particularly welcomed their skills in handling of modern interactive instruments in education.

High level of training of the contest participants predetermined serious competition in their fight for prize places. In this context, the bronze medal, which was won by the Turkmen pupil, was quite valuable.
