Construction of new village with total area of 400 hectares continues in Rukhabat etrap of Akhal province in Yasmansalyk gengeshlik in the north of Garagum River.
It is constructed the first stage of populated area – 85 two-storey cottages. In total, 2054 cottages will be erected on the territory of the village. These are one- and two-storey three- and six-room dwelling houses of modern design. Taking into account the peculiarities of rural life-style, each house has covered plot of lands laid with asphalt, pens for cattle and poultries, barns and garages.
22 socio-cultural buildings will appear here as well. Among them, it is worth mentioning, rural gengeshlik (administration), cultural center, postal telegraph office, mosque, three comprehensive schools (for 800 pupils each), five kindergartens (for 240 kids each), physical training and health complex, Health Center, trade center, consumer services centre, center of festive solemnities, six shops of industrial and food items.
The construction of new settlement is realized by “Argachgurlushyk” and “Ahalgurlushyk” Production Associations. It was designed by the specialists of “Turkmendovlettaslama” State planning scientific production association. Realization of this project initiated by the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan passed on February 3 of the current year at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan is planned to be completed fully in the middle of 2016.
Construction of new modern settlement in Rukhabat etrap is carried out within the framework of realization of “Program of the President of Turkmenistan on socio-economic development of the country for 2012-2016”, which stipulates the construction of such villages of new formation in other regions of the country as well. New settlements will appear in Serdar etrap of Balkan province, etrap named after A. Niyazov of Dashoguz province, Garabekewil etrap of Lebap province and Altyn sahra etrap of Mary province. At present, the project designs of facilities, site layout plans are under completion and geological and geodetic investigations are carried out.
