The agenda of a training workshop held in the Turkmen capital this week focused on the issues regarding improvement of an electronic document management system.
The seminar entitled “E-Government and Electronic Document Management” organized by the Turkmen National Institute for Democracy and Human Rights under the President of Turkmenistan and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in the framework of the Turkmenistan Governance Strengthening Project brought together representatives of the Mejlis, a number of Turkmen ministries and departments, the Institute of State and Law under the President of Turkmenistan and the Civil Service Academy under the President of Turkmenistan.
The tow-day workshop provided the participants with an opportunity to learn about the major objectives and principles for the development of an electronic document management system in the context of Turkmenistan’s further socio-economic development and the use of modern information resources to promote interagency collaboration.
