It was held a regular meeting of the Central Committee for elections and holding of referendums in Turkmenistan. Its agenda included the issues connected with preparation for elections of the Council members and deputies of the Parliament. Members of the General Executive Committee, employees of the machinery of central election committee, representatives of working groups created at the General Executive Committee, national observers, mass media took part in the meeting.

In the course of the meeting, it was listened to the reports of the officials of the election committees of the provinces about full readiness for this important socio-political action, including the provision of all polling stations with relevant office equipment and stock as well as equipment of the rooms intended for voting procedure with special booths. The agenda also included the issue on stopping the election talks according to the active legislation on August 18. In this connection, the Central Committee for elections and holding of referendums in Turkmenistan made a relevant decision.

At the meeting, it was also considered a series of other organizational issues. According to them, proper decision was made.
