The founding congress of the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan took place in the Turkmen capital. The forum brought together the representatives of business organizations from all the regions of the country at the Business Centre of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
The members of the committee for organizing and holding the founding congress opened the meeting. A member of the organizing committee, Chairman of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan A. Dadaev gave an opening address congratulating all those present on the landmark, historic event for the country – the foundation of a new party that became possible in accordance with the Law of Turkmenistan on Political Parties adopted this year.
The executive members of the congress, the Secretariat and the members of the counting board were elected at the beginning of the meeting.
The meeting agenda focused on the foundation of the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, the approval of its Charter and the Programme, the election of the members of the Central Council of the Party and the Audit Oversight Board, etc.
The entrepreneurs representing the Ashgabat and velayat branches of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan addressed the congress. The unanimous decision to found the new party – the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan was adopted during the follow-up discussions and voting.
The members and Chairman of the Central Council were elected. Orazmammed Mammedov was elected on an alternative basis as the Chairman of the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
The Addresses to the Turkmen people and President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov were adopted on behalf of the founding members of the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
