The palace of Culture built in the Yzgant settlement, in Geoktepe Etrap, in Ahal Velayat was named after Myalikguly Berdimuhamedov, the father of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The decision was adopted by the Mejlis of Turkmenistan at the request of the people residing in the Yzgant settlement and the Ahal Velayat Khyakim’s address.
