In spite of richness of the national market with printed periodical publications, new magazines and newspapers appear in Turkmenistan. In particular, these are specialized publications devoted to this or other sphere of professional activity, sector of the national economy of the country or definite fields of human interests. Now, the spectrum of periodical press of Turkmenistan was replenished with “Siyahat” (“Tourism”) magazine, being published by the State Committee for tourism.
Informative and educational magazine about tourism, trips and recreation in Turkmenistan gives the Turkmen and foreign readers an excellent opportunity to know better about suggested routes over remarkable places of our country, its historico-cultural and natural monuments, resort and recreation centers, unique flora and fauna.
The first issue presents in detail the strategy of development of the national tourism industry on the example of the complex “Program of tourism development in Turkmenistan in 2012-2016”. Particular place in the Program was attached to the expansion of the international ties in the aspect of promotion of entrance tourism in Turkmenistan, presentation-advertising activity both in the country and abroad. Participation of Turkmenistan in the World Exhibition “EXPO-2012” in the Korean city Yeosu became such scale presentation as well. There, it was presented the project of creation on the Turkmen coast of the Caspian Sea of the National Tourist Zone “Avaza” at the planetary level and with ecological accent. There are results of the work of the Turkmen exhibition hall in the worldwide exposition in the review publications, familiarizing with prospects of expansion of the international partnership in this sphere on its most vital trends.
In this issue, it was also shown with “close-up” the modern development of sanitaria and health spheres in Turkmenistan. Reportage from “Mollagara” sanatorium was devoted to this topic. It was fully renewed after fundamental reconstruction, corresponding with the high world standards.
On the pages of the issue, it was reflected in fascinating narration the monuments of Koytendag: rare karstic caves, underground lakes, plateau of dinosaurs and others. Of course, all these attract high attention of the scientists, but at the same time, it is also excellent reason for organization here of international tourism, creation of the national park of nature as one of most wonderful places of the planet.

It was issued a regular number of the international popular science magazine “Miras” (“Heritage”), being published by the National Institute of Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan.
The articles about monuments of the Stone Age of the east Caspian region, Oguz-Turkmen traditions, moral and aesthetic views of the Turkmen on the example of handwritten monuments of literature, about Buddhism in ancient Merv and others are of great interest for specialists and wide readership. Among authors of these publications are the researchers, historians, orientalists and literary critics, who represent the large scientific centers of various countries including Iraq, Kazakhstan, India and others.

Regular, the third number of the specialized scientific-technical magazine “Standards, quality and security” reflected major vectors of development of the national standardization system taking into account its international integration in the field of technical regulation.
Publications of this issue present detailed analysis of the market of existing and forecasting of future standards, being determined as “growth point” in socio-economic development of Turkmenistan, stirring up of international partnership.
In particular, it was considered the priority issues of elaboration of the state educational standards, securing of traceability. It was also considered in detail such important trends as protection of interests and rights of consumers in the field of product security that includes the testing and quality rating of different materials and goods as well as organization of safe production.
