A large solemnity devoted to the Independence Day was held in “Ashgabat” stadium of the capital. It has hosted the representatives of the government and parliament of the country, diplomatic mission accredited to Turkmenistan, ambassadors of Turkmenistan in foreign countries, representatives of the community and mass media, participants of the completed jubilee XV Forum of World Turkmen Humanitarian Association and numerous guests.

Scale choreographic and song compositions, reflecting five friendly provinces of the country, pictures of peaceful and happy life, devoted to sports, education and science as well as original national traditions were demonstrated on the arena of stadium. Riders on Akhalteke horses demonstrated the mastery of trick riding.
