As it was informed, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a Resolution on transfer of the building of “Mekan” Palace previously belonged to the World Turkmen Humanitarian Association into the ownership of Ashgabat city municipality. Henceforth, “Mekan” Palace will become the center of cultural and elucidative activity, place for organization of large socio-political events.

Today, solemn meeting was held there. Members of the government, officials of Ashgabat city municipality and its structural subdivisions, municipal branches of the social organizations of the country took part in it. Within the framework of the meeting, it was held the awarding ceremony of the best workers of subdivisions of the municipality. Nearly 100 representatives of municipal services received the gifts on behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov as well as letters of commendation from Ashgabat municipality. Ceremony of transfer of “Lincoln Navigator” motor car – the gift of the head of Turkmen state into the disposal of the city municipality became a bright moment.
