“Budgeting for children” was the topic of two-day seminar opened today in the Turkmen capital. It was organized by representative office of UNICEF (United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund) in Turkmenistan jointly with the Parliament of Turkmenistan.
The representatives of various ministries and departments of our country, including Ministry of Economy and Development, Ministry of Finances, Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population, Turkmen National Institute of Democracy and Human Rights at the President of Turkmenistan, Pension Fund of our country, national mass media and others took part in the seminar.
Within the framework of two day of the work of the seminar, its participants exchanged views on major issues of budgeting, mechanisms of the strategic planning of programs in social sphere, methods of analysis of incomes and expenditures, as well as key trends of improvement of planning and budgeting of relevant programs.
Tomorrow, the seminar will continue its work.
