On January 8, a working meeting was held with the Representative of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in Turkmenistan at the Ministry of Finance and Economy.

The meeting focused on issues of boosting cooperation between Turkmenistan and the EBRD, including in the field of lending facilities and investments, where positive experience has been gained.

A special topic for discussion was prospects of the European Bank’s participation in large-scale infrastructure projects initiated by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov as part of the effective reforms ongoing in all sectors of the national economy.
