General census of the population and housing resources has completed in Turkmenistan. It was held from December 15 to 26 in accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan.
Already tomorrow – on December 27, for securing completeness and rightness of population accounting as well as in order to avoid the shortage or double counting, it will be started selective checking round of respondents and then, verification procedure of rightness of census documentation completion, reception and transmission of census documents and their delivery to Ashgabat for automated processing in main computer center.
In connection with census of the population and housing resources, the volume of works connected with public inquiry as well as with processing of census results has increased considerably. Preliminary results of general census of the population – 2012 will be summed up in July of next year and the final – at the beginning of 2014.
