At the 18th meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers in January the President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a decree to play an important role in the ongoing development of medical science and practice, the national health care system, the formation and operation of a national leader of a priority.
In particular according to the decision will be reconstructed International Medical Center, part of the Directorate of the International Medical Center in Ashgabat and the establishment of University Centre (UC) of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, for which a modern building that meets the latest requirements of institutions of this type.
As reported in the University Centre will include academic and clinical laboratories, research and analytical research department, here is the newest equipment that allows doctors and specialists will take practical training, develop, conduct actual development, basic and applied research, explore and test innovative methods and technologies, the best international practices.
In fact, the Center as a fundamentally new organization is to become the industry's core backbone to ensure consistent quality of its capacity-building tactics and the strategy of dynamic development of medical science-oriented results. This will create the necessary logistical and organizational prerequisites for the transition to innovative development of health.
Activities of the new center will help to create a system of medical education and medical information, the formation of targeted research programs aimed at developing "breakthrough" health technology. Teaching and Research Center of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry must be both a theorist and practitioner of the new model of care in Turkmenistan. To create it has been thoroughly studied the experience of the best of such centers in the world, and now we can say that the new structure will be the initial step to create a cluster of medical innovations, allowing them to "full cycle": creation - introduction - spread. The opening of the University Centre in the system of health care and medical science to a new level will continue the systematic study of the structure, causes and risk factors of disease. The center using simulation equipment doctors and specialists will take practical training and improve their skills in the field of production of complex diagnosis and appropriate treatment measures. In the clinical laboratory will study different types of infections, including new and emerging due to global climate change, etc. Will investigate the susceptibility of bacteria to medicines, as well as conducted research on the various biological fluids, cells, tissues.
This will expand the research on a number of new areas of medical science, and along with it to conduct a comprehensive study on the characteristics of public health, and prevention programs
