“Standard, quality and safety”
On the pages of quarterly scientific and technical magazine “Standard, quality and safety”, being published in the Turkmen, Russian and English languages, readers can find the materials on very different subject matter under the headings “Standardization”, “State control and quality”, “Events and dates” and others.
Material “Standardization and measurement assurance - on renewed legislative basis”, which comments in detail the Laws of Turkmenistan “On standardization” and “On measurement assurance”, is brought to the attention of readers.
A number of topical publications were placed under the heading “State control and quality”. So, one of the articles is devoted to the issues of quality improvement of services rendered in the sphere of tourism, which ranks today among priority sectors of the national economy.
In overview-analytical article “The importance of introduction into production of the quality system”, it is noted the particular importance of introduction of standards adopted by the International Standardization Organization to create high-quality and competitive products in the world market. Moreover, as the authors note, this process makes for significant activization of market mechanisms of the national economy.

Standards raise efficiency”. Being the principal oversight body over quality of goods and services produced in the country or imported from abroad, ensuring the uniformity of measurements, protection and rational use of mineral resources as well as labor safety, the Main State Service “Turkmenstandartlary” demonstrated the attainments in this field and works, being realized for solution of tasks in the field of standardization, metrology, certification and quality.
