The first stage of the Child-Friendly School (CFS) project has been successfully completed in Turkmenistan. As a result, 26 schools throughout the country have received this status.

UNICEF Representative in Turkmenistan Samphe Lhalungpa reported this news during the plenary meeting of the international scientific conference on the development of education in Turkmenistan. The representative of the authoritative international organisation highly evaluated progress the education system of the Turkmen state had made in recent years.
