A meeting with World War II Veterans (1941-1945) took place at the conference hall of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Sports.
During the solemn ceremony, the leading coaches of the country expressed deep gratitude to war veterans for their heroism and courage displayed on the battlefields and the Great Victory that gives the chance to the present and future generation to live under peaceful skies.
War veterans underlined the necessity to value peace and live in peace and noted that sport uniting hundreds millions of peoples all over the world served as the best peaceful ‘weapon’ to reveal the strongest.
Valuable presents were awarded to war veterans during the meeting.
