The ceremony of laying spring flowers to the Monument of Constitution and the Monument to Magtymguly Fraghi took place in the Turkmen capital on occasion of the Constitution Day and Day of Revival, Unity and Magtymguly’s Poetry.

Festive celebrations started near the Monument of Constitution in the picturesque foothills of the Kopetdag Mountains early in the morning. Green flags flied, music and songs sounded everywhere, colourful flowers and smiles of people gathered together at the memorial complex created an exciting festive atmosphere of a big holiday.

Later that day, thousands peoples of Ashgabat and guests to the Turkmen capital as well as Turkmen poets and writers participated in the festive ceremony arranged near the monument to the great Turkmen poet and thinker in the square in the center of the Turkmen capital. Mgtymguly’s poems sounded there as a hymn to the Turkmen people’s centuries-old dream and a colourful carpet covered the pedestal of the monument symbolized the people’s boundless love and respect to the great sun of the nation.
