Turkmen-Lithuanian Business forum in Turkmenistan

The Turkmen-Lithuanian Business forum took place at the Mizan Business Centre within the framework of an official visit of Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania Algirdas Butkevičius to Turkmenistan. The forum organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, the Association of Lithuanian Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Crafts and Association of Entrepreneurs of Lithuania, brought together the heads and key specialists of the state and business structures of the two friendly states.

The visit of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania and the delegation including the representatives of largest enterprises and companies such as ALNA, B.G.M, Avia Solutions Group, Imlitex Holdings, Calenberg, RITTAL, Kauno tiltai, Baltic Legal Solutions Lietuva, Conmaster, APT21, Auksinis ungurys, etc. vividly testifies to the high level of mutual understanding and confidence between Turkmenistan and Lithuania.

The video film about the progress of implementation of the strategy of the social and economic development of Turkmenistan and video clip demonstrating the macroeconomic status of the Republic of Lithuania were presented within the framework of the forum.

The foreign guests put forward a number of initiatives aimed at the further enhancement of the mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation.

Addressing those present, Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania Algirdas Butkevičius underlined the constructive character of the meeting with the President of Turkmenistan specifying the important aspects of cooperation and prospects of its development.

Bilateral meetings with the representatives of ministries, departments, private agencies and entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and Lithuanian companies took place within the framework of the forum. New contacts were established and the prospects of development of cooperation were discussed during the meetings.
