“The Role and Place of the CIS Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Supporting Small and Medium Business” Scientific and Practical Conference took place in the conference hall of the Kerwen Hotel in the Avaza national tourism zone.

The forum held within the framework of the presidency of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in the CIS Council of Heads of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry brought together the representatives of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry and business structures from the Russian Federation, the Republic of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyz Republic on the Turkmen Caspian coast. Representatives of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, relevant ministries and banking institutions of the country participated in the forum.

The conference agenda included a wide range of issues regarding assistance in developing private business in the CIS states, fostering interstate cooperation within the Chambers, core state enterprises and public organisations in the sphere of trade and economic relations and investment cooperation between the business circles of the CIS member states.
