The ceremony of putting three apartment buildings - two 32-apartment and one 24-apartment houses with a department store on the ground floor - into operation took place in Geoktepe. They were built by the private construction company at the request of the Department of Capital Construction of the Ahal Velayat Khyakimlik.

Each house has 2-, 3- and 4-room apartments with modern conveniences. Suspended ceilings, parquet floors, kitchens with furniture and gas stoves make apartments comfortable to live in. The buildings are coated with white marble and the ground floor - with granite. There is a department store on the ground floor of one of the apartment houses. The area around the new apartment buildings is planted with hundreds of trees of different varieties. There are children's playgrounds, sports fields and an area for social events in the adjacent territory.

The new high-rise apartment houses blend well with the ensemble of white-marble buildings that line up along the main street of the town where other social facilities, such as school, kindergarten, cultural and entertainment centres and department stores, have been and are being built.
