The issues of creation of single educational space became the content of several conferences and seminars held under the aegis of “TEMPUS” Program of the European Union in Turkmenistan and beyond its borders.
Seminar with participation of the representatives of educational institutions of our country and states of the European Union was held at the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after D. Azadi. This meeting was organized within the framework of realization of the project of “TEMPUS” Program of the European Union. From the Turkmen party, besides the higher language school, the Ministry of Education, International Turkmen-Turkish University, Turkmen State Institute of Oil and Gas, Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after S. Seydi and their European partners from Germany, Portugal and Poland take part in the project.
This project, which started at the end of 2010, is aimed at improvement of the national educational standards of higher school of our country on the basis of study and introduction of the best practices of the European countries in this field.
During realization of the project, according to the provisions of Bolognese declaration, envisaging single educational standards in the member countries and realization of relevant projects in this direction, a series of educational and training events were held in our country. They were aimed at search of compromise between traditional forms of teaching and innovation standards in the educational sphere with a view of joining to single European space.
“International education” was a title of the conference, which hosted in the capital of Spain - Madrid the representatives from over fifty states of the world, including Turkmenistan. Main topic of the conference agenda is the system of estimation of quality of the higher education and its unification. In the course of the forum, it was considered and discussed important issues including connected with the development of the international partnership strategy in the sphere of higher education, prospects of distance learning, its advantages and disadvantages. In this connection, the conversation turned to active use of nanotechnologies. By means of them, it is possible to increase considerably the effectiveness of educational processes. It was also mentioned other information connected with problems of cosmobiology. Presentations on the basis of researches of surface of Mars were devoted to this subject trend.
At that, the subject spectrum of the forum was quite wide that served for excited discussions of mutual interest and active exchange of innovative pedagogical experience. Many vital problems have been analyzed and taken into account by the European Commission. International experts also appreciated the experience of Turkmenistan on development of the sphere of higher education.
