The national round of the intellectual contest among students of higher educational institutions started in the country. The main aim of the annual contest is to help students to deepen knowledge, incite their interest in sciences they study, encourage self-education, reveal talents, involve young scientists in research activities and improve the training of highly qualified specialists at higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan.

Students of all higher schools of the country, who won the qualification tournaments, participated in the national round of the intellectual contest organized by the Ministry of Education. During two days the jury consisting of renowned scientists, professors and teachers of higher educational institutions, specialists of the research centre will be selecting the best participants who have demonstrate their knowledge in 23 disciplines.

According to the rules the prizes will be awarded in the team and individual tournaments in each discipline. The participants who will take the first, second and third places will receive the title of the winners of the National Intellectual Contest and valuable presents and diplomas. The jury will present the certificates of honour and encouragement prizes for the best answers.
