Significant date – the Caspian Day was solemnly celebrated today in picturesque coast of Avaza.
The program of festive events was opened with the scientific-practical conference held in “Hasyl” hotel of the National Tourist Zone “Avaza”.
The conference participants got a review of major trends of international cooperation of Turkmenistan on the Caspian Sea, including within the framework of realization of the regional Caspian Ecological Program.
In the course of interested view exchange, it was considered a wide spectrum of issues on various directions of interaction and prospects of cooperation of the Caspian states in the field of protection of reserve zones and natural resources of the Caspian Sea, purity of its waters.
Special attention at the forum was paid to the restoration of marine fish resources, including sturgeon, positive experience of regulation of fishing activity in basin of the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea. A rich diversity of fish, being observed here, as well as representatives of fauna of Hazar Nature Reserve was demonstrated for meeting participants at the joint exhibition prepared in the foyer of “Hasyl” hotel by Hazar Nature Reserve of the Ministry of Nature Protection and State Committee of fish industry of Turkmenistan.
In the context of the current conference, its participants highly appreciated the ecological component of the unprecedented project of creation on the Caspian coast of world-class resort – National Tourist Zone “Avaza”.
