A regular issue of Democracy and Law Quarterly prepared for publication by the Turkmen National Institute for Democracy and Human Rights under the President of Turkmenistan appeared in print. The journal is published in the Turkmen, English and Russian languages and printed at the Printing Centre of the Turkmen State Publishing Service.

Modernization of the national legal and regulatory framework is the theme of the article Comprehensive Improvement of the Legislation of Turkmenistan that places emphasis on the conditions conducive to the implementation of standards of international law in the national laws.
