The fair entitled “Our Potential” was arranged at the Baş market Shopping Centre of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. Women entrepreneurs presented their goods at the forum.
The aim of the fair, which is arranged jointly each year by the largest public organisations of our country – the Women’s Union and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs – is to showcase achievements and accomplishments of the beautiful half of our society who use their creative abilities and talents, business skills and initiative to facilitate the involvement of our citizens in social activity for the benefit of their families and society.
The Women’s Union of Turkmenistan unites hundreds of thousands of our compatriots. Many of them, who make progress in various spheres, including trade and catering, sewing and weaving, education, crafts and services, represent the private sector. The Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs closely cooperates with the Women’s Union in fulfilling the tasks to involve our contemporaries in socially important activity. A vector of concerted efforts of the two public organisations is the Centre of Businesswomen.
The fair was organized with the support of the Centre. The fair provided business associations and private enterprises with an opportunity to present wonderful textile goods, pieces of decorative and applied art and a variety of business proposals in the service sector.
The similar fairs of the goods produced by Turkmen women entrepreneurs will be arranged in all the regions of our country over the last decade of September.
