Turkmenistan will provide humanitarian aid to the people residing in the border areas of Afghanistan. The Ministry of Textile Industry, the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, the State Food Industry Association and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan will send free of charge goods and products, including sportswear, agricultural products, school desks and confectionery, to the neighbouring country.

Humanitarian aid will be provided in accordance with the Order signed by the President of Turkmenistan during the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers. It is noted that this decision is based on the high humanistic principles of the ancestors of the Turkmen people as well as on friendly, fraternal and good neighbourly relations.
