Numerous citizens and guests to the Turkmen capital gathered together near the tallest New Year’s tree in the country sparkling with bright colors.
The TV space bridge allowed citizens of all five regions of the country to take part in the New Year’s celebrations. The monitors connecting the administrative centres of the five regions with the Turkmen capital are installed near the wonderful buildings of the Palace of Culture in Yzgant settlement in Ahal Velayat, Ruhyet Palaces in Turkmenbashi, Dashoguz, Turkmenabat and the Mary Velayat Library. Artists and art groups performed colorful festive show that brought together numerous spectators. Among them were the elders, khyakims and highly esteemed citizens of all regions, youth and children.
The musical marathon continued at the stage near the Alem Centre. The New Year’s address of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the nation was the culmination of the celebrations.
The new year of 2014 has come! The National Anthem of Turkmenistan sounded at all TV channels.
