The new multi-type hospital and health centre were opened in Bereket town in Balkan Velayat under the National Programme of the President of Turkmenistan on the improvement of social and living conditions in settlements, villages, towns in etraps and etrap centres for the period till 2020.
The health centre built in compliance with international standards is designed for 100 visitors a day. Family doctors and specialists will provide diagnostic and medical aid to patients. Hospital wards, treatment rooms and laboratories are supplied with state-of-the-art equipment which enables to render a wide spectrum of services to local citizen and conduct disease prevention activities.
The hospital has the in-patient departments designed for 130 patients, hospital ward, therapeutics, children’s, surgery and gynaecology departments and first-aid station. Delivery room is located in a separate building.
Local medical workers will use state-of-the-art equipment and apparatuses produced by the world-known European companies such as Siemens (Germany).
Equipment and devices installed in the maternity department and laboratory enable to make 16 blood analyses. The new hospital building has the autonomous water, heating and power supply system systems.
In a word, the necessary conditions are created in light and spacious medical rooms, waiting areas and wards so that visitors and patients can feel comfortable in the health centre and local medical personnel can work effectively. Local medical workers attended the advanced training courses and learned how to use new equipment and devices.
It should be noted that newly constructed buildings in Bereket town are a vivid illustration of the drastic changes taking place in all regions of our country. A number of industrial, social and cultural facilities were opened in Bereket in August this year. President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov attended the opening ceremonies. numerous newly- constructed buildings include the clothing factory, the carpet factory, cultural centre, kindergarten, school, apartment houses, sports facilities, shopping centre, post office building, telephone exchange designed for 1,000 subscribers, khyakimlik administrative building and hotel.
Also, the transport enterprise with the fleet of modern motor vehicles and bus terminal with a big parking area were put into operation in Bereket. The Bereket quarry department produces a broad range of building materials such as crushed stone, gravel and sandy gravel which are in high demand on numerous construction sites throughout the region.
A locomotive depot under construction in Bereket is to become the largest industrial enterprise in the town. It should be noted that the Bereket railway station will become a key transport nodal point of the future North-South transnational railway which will be the shortest and most convenient route from European countries to the Persian Gulf ports, southern Asia and Middle East.
