The ceremony of laying the foundation stone of Avaza Etrap took place in Turkmenbashi town. It launched the construction of new buildings and facilities in the territory of the newly established etrap.
As is known, two new etraps in Turkmenbashi town – Avaza and Kenar – were established last summer. The decision to establish the new etraps is necessitated by the expansion of the Avaza national tourism zone that has resulted from the development of its infrastructure and the growing popularity of this ultramodern international resort on the Caspian seaside that emerged in our country thanks to the initiative of the President of Turkmenistan. The President issued the Resolution on the establishment of the two new etraps of Turkmenbashi town during the enlarged government meeting, which took place on July 31, 2014. The Mejlis of Turkmenistan issued the relevant Resolution.
The ceremony of laying the foundation stone of the Avaza Etrap Khyakimlik building khyakimlik Etrap brought together the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, the cabinet ministers, the heads of the administration of Balkan Velayat and Turkmenbashi town, specialists of a number of ministries and departments and public organisations, the elders and young citizens.
The first shovels of concrete were thrown into the foundation pit of the Avaza Etrap Khyakimlik building to the applause of ceremony participants. The buildings and facilities to be built in the newly established etrap include the school, kindergarten, health centre and office buildings of utilities and other services. The territories adjacent to these buildings will be planted with trees and shrubs. The colourful banners installed on the ceremony venue provided a visual representation of new buildings.
The bright performances of musical and dance groups of the maritime town created a festive atmosphere of the ceremony.
