On the eve of the International Women’s Day, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov issued Decree on awarding 188 mothers of many children, who gave birth and brought up eight and more children, with the title of honour of Turkmenistan “Ene Mahri”.

The decision was taken following our ancestors' traditions to respect mothers as holy women, custodians of the family hearth that is the basis of the healthy development of the Turkmen society given the outstanding contributions of mothers in raising the younger generation.
