Works on the twelfth stage of development of Ashgabat, which construction was started at the end of 2012, are going on. Laying engineering and communication networks, finishing work, facing of facade with marble are carried out on the upper floors of the buildings. Completion of the construction is planned by the end of the current year.
The operations are realized by a series of state and private construction enterprises as well as foreign companies. Territory of construction site extended along section of A. Niyazov Avenue: from Bitarap Turkmenistan Avenue till Gorogly Street. Plan of the 12th stage of capital’s development was worked out by the State planning scientific-production association “Turkmendovlettaslama”.
As a whole, 19 facilities have been placed on nearly 50-hectare area. Among them are 13 highly comfortable dwelling houses, 2 schools for 600 pupils each, 2 kindergartens for 160 children each, business center, State Bank of Development of Turkmenistan. The adjoining territory will be accomplished and planted with trees and shrubs, which will include car park, sport and playgrounds, place for holding of mass-cultural events.
It is continued the works on reconstruction of 2.1-kilometer long adjacent section of A. Niyazov Avenue, which was straightened and widened twice – till 77 meters. It is planned eight traffic lanes on the highway – four on both sides as well as additional passages. It is envisaged 3 underground passages and on intersection of A. Niyazov Street with Seydi and Mollanepes Streets – 2 road tunnels.
Reconstruction of the section of highway is realized by the Turkish “Nata” Company. Its specialists also construct two-level interchange on intersection of A. Niyazov Avenue and Gorogly Street, which directly joins to ensemble of the 12th stage.
