The festive marathon of architectural premieres dedicated to the glorious 20th anniversary of independence of our Motherland is continued throughout the country. A new modern school designed for 600 children opened the doors in Anau town, Ak Bugday etrap in Ahal Velayat.

The construction of social facilities including educational institutions equipped with modern technologies in all regions, in most remote settlements of our country is the call of the times that comes from the priorities of the epoch of new Revival. Due to the state strategy initiated by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in order to improve the standards of living of every citizen and, first of all, the younger generation, these changes bring the light of knowledge and wonderful opportunities for creative and constructive labour.

Vivid evidence for it is numerous new schools designed in an original architectural style and supplied with multimedia technologies and other modern learning aids which have been built throughout the country in recent years. These include the new school in Anau. The ceremony of opening the school brought together representatives of velayat and etrap khyakimliks, public organisations, the elders and numerous local citizens.

The ceremony guests were greeted by the heroes of the festivities – young hosts who had the right to be the first to enter the new white-marble school which was festively decorated with colourful ribbons and balloons.

The new building sprang up in the centre of the town. Together with a kindergarten it blends well with the architectural ensemble on Azatlyk Street. The conditions conducive to integrated intellectual and physical development of schoolchildren are created in the three-storey main building and eight adjacent buildings which house the gym and swimming pool, greenhouse, classrooms, school administration offices, assembly hall for festive events, canteen and two medical rooms with the dental room.

There are spacious classrooms and rooms for extended-day groups of primary school pupils, light classrooms for senior schoolchildren, language laboratories, information science classrooms equipped with laboratory equipment, computers and multimedia boards in the main building. The rooms for music and painting classes meet the aesthetic education aims. There are the big library supplied with academic and methodological literature and fiction, the Galkynys room and teachers’ rooms.

Children will do sport in football, volleyball, basketball and other outdoor sports grounds in the territory of the school. The adjacent territory is planted with decorative trees and shrubs.
