The Central Council of the Union of Women of Turkmenistan held the III enlarged meeting to sum up the work done within the reporting period. The Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, cabinet ministers, representatives of numerous subdivisions of the Union as well as the members of the Auditing Committee of the Central Council of the Union of Women of Turkmenistan took part in the meeting.

The forum that brought together the delegates from all regions of the country and the Turkmen capital specified the key areas of work for the near future. Within the framework of the meeting, M. Yazmuhammedova was relieved of the post as Chairperson of the Central Council of the Union of Women of Turkmenistan due to the transfer to another job. G. Bayramova was elected to the post.
