On the eve of solemnities, taking place these days in Turkmenistan in honor of the 290th anniversary of great Turkmen poet Magtymguly Phragy, the Central Bank of the country minted memorable coins.
Gold and silver coins as well as a set of jubilee coins “Nusgawy Turkmen Shahyry Magtymguly Pyragynyn 290 yillygy”, containing gold and silver each of which with a face value of 50 manats, became the dedication to upcoming nationwide holiday – Day of Revival, Unity and Poetry of Magtymguly Phragy.
Numismatic new products, which calculation is 50 copies, were made by Mint of the Great Britain “The Royal Mint Limited”. Rarities in diameter of 38.61 mm were coined from pure gold – 916.7 and 925- standard silver. High quality of coins – “proof” guarantees the attached to them certificate of the Central Bank of Turkmenistan. Gold coin has the weight of 39.94 grams, and silver – 28.28 grams.
