A children's art contest was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to mark the International Children's Day. The festive event was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the offices of the International Children's Fund and the UNICEF, whose representatives were the members of the jury.
A fascinating show was performed for children by artists of the Turkmen State Circus and the Turkmen State Puppet Theatre in the festively decorated foyer of the Institute.
While children were having fun and enjoying everything happening around, the jury were selecting the winners in two categories - the best drawing and the best handmade article. A total of 100 works created by talented children were displayed on the stands in the foyer of the Institute.

In them, young artists told the spectators about the family hearth, colourful national festivals and delicious Turkmen dishes, flora and fauna of the native land, its magnificent architectural look and their childhood and their dreams.
The ceremony of awarding the art contest winners was held in a solemn atmosphere, and all participants received incentive prizes. In short, each child received awards for his or her imagination, creative abilities and, most importantly, active participation in the contest.
