With the view to implement the General Programme for drinking water supply to settlements in Turkmenistan, improving the social and living conditions and efficiently using water resources, the environmentally friendly water treatment plants equipped with advanced technologies are to be built in all the regions of Turkmenistan.

The President of Turkmenistan issued the Resolution authorizing the velayat khyakimliks to conclude the construction contracts with local enterprises and the Orin Mühendislik Nakliýat Inşaat Sanaýi we Tijaret Limited Şirketi Company (Turkey). In accordance with the Resolution the construction work is to start in February 2012 and the small capacity water treatment plants are to be put into operation in September 2012.
