President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree authorizing to move the day off from December 28 to January 2, 2015.

The decision was taken with the aim to create the favourable conditions for celebrationg the New Year's holidays as well as in accordance with Part 3, Article 81 of the Labour Code of Turkmenistan.
